MUSIC & SUSTAINABILITY FESTIVAL

Partnerships:
Ridgestock is a community event and a chance for us a people to gather and exchange ideas. For this reason, we partner with local organizations to bring you the best day we can. The San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center provides a children’s area complete with activities and a top-notch performer geared toward sustainability and children.  We also partner with a local organization Mud and Pearls, a Do-it –yourself- group that fosters hands on learning of essential mountain skills. Our staff and volunteers are committed to bringing the Ridge to the world and showcasing our skills and talents.  We are also well supported by our local media outlets: The Union Newspaper and the online resource: yubanet.

Ridgestock brings together residents & families with organizations, businesses, musicians, vendors and performers under the towering pines nestled in the Sierra Mountain foothills, to educate and entertain. Ridgestock offers a wide array of vendors, informational speakers, along side a line-up of great music on the grounds of the historic North Columbia Schoolhouse and Amphitheatre.
Ridgestock is known for consistently showcasing the finest in up & coming local talent as well as crowd-pleasing headlining acts.
We partner with the local organization Mud and Pearls to offer sustainable education and workshops in a family friendly atmosphere.

Moon Alice coming in 2016!

History:
Ridgestock began in 2000 as a grass roots effort to showcase local music and green living in our area. Over the years the festival has grown substantially and is now a mainstay of the summer in the foothills.  We are proud to have such acts as Chali2na of Jurassic 5  (along with members of Ozamotli and Fishbone), Monophonics, The Mermen, Joe Craven, SambaDa, Mojo Green, Zeperella and many many others.  Our demonstrations and workshop topics have included: solar energy, cold fusion, electric cars, alternative building including straw-bale and cob, permaculture and organic gardening and much more.

Vendors are curated locally as well as from the greater northern California region to offer a variety of crafts and wares for man, woman and child.
